| This is one of the best movies I've seen in a while! It is also one of the funniest movies I've seen recently. The start definitively establishes that the action of a shock and adds value. The first half hour or so it was hilarious, full of small things humorous. Then starts the whole system of road trip and focuses more on the characters' emotional journey. What is also neat for anyone who spent time in Los Angeles and the Valley is that you can recognize most of the landscapes. This makes the plot of our world a little and makes the family. The characters that you together with them on their journey. Patrick Fugit was fantastic in his role, like all the other players. There was even a little surprise castings that had the audience roaring with laughter and cheering at the end of the film. This is truly a character in the Wristcutters: A Love Story film based on the type you do not find much more. You will not regret it at any time! |
| This is one of "those" movies. You know the kind - like a catchy tune the vibe of the DVD movie Wristcutters: A Love Story stays in your head ... the DVD film Wristcutters: A Love Story had all the chances in the world to be depressing, but so far there are only a few elements of drama and the title is deceiving, it really is a love story and a beautiful one at that thread great mood when I laughed, I laughed a lot. And probably cry if the ending was different. I will not go into the possibilities and impossibilities of metaphysics, and that absolutely is not about this story, purgatory, if you will, is only the stage, where the game is romantic, with that, but it is really innovative daring, as was probably never clear the box office to exploit what Wristcutters' would. In my opinion, the movie: Wristcutters: A Love Story is so well done that it would have been great even if it is stripped of suicide and it was just a simple love story. Oh, and Shannyn Sossamon was so convincing, I think I am in love with her now. ;) |
| When his girlfriend Desiree (Leslie Bibb) breaks up with him, the heart Zia (Patrick Fugit) commits suicide by cutting his wrists. He wakes up in the arid Beyond, a dark place inhabited by people suicidal and worse than the world of the living. He found a job at the pizzeria Kamikaze, sharing a room with a surprising fourth. When Zia meets an old friend, he is informed that Desiree has also committed suicide a few months after his death. | This DivX film Wristcutters: A Love Story was the highlight of the Sundance Film Festival this year for me. It contains a story of true love, hidden under the dark satire, and the music incredible. If a DivX film Wristcutters: A Love Story at Sundance 2006, regrets not seeing, not that either. Wristcutters is why this festival.Patrick Fugit (Almost Famous known) gives a surprising performance. It was clear when I first heard the name, but after that I can not say things very well. I would definitely pick up this DVD when it is released, and any person who is also black humor. Sundance again another job well done. I hope to see more movies like this. |
| I stumbled on the trailer on the Internet, and it seemed he had all the makings of a quirky indie film: an interesting one, a road trip, Tom Waits, so I was excited to see, and ... I do not know, just kind of fell flat for me. Is all that is neither funny, nor all the drama, just kind of plodded along. There were all covered in this DivX Movie Wristcutters: A Love Story is aimless and without spark. The characters never become full or interesting. Not bad, not good, it feels like cinematic purgatory. Just keeps waiting for the movie: Wristcutters: A Love Story to take off, but then it was over. Patrick Fugit does a good job trying to make an incredible uncompelling character watchable and Shea Wigham a riot when given the opportunity. However, you want to pass the film: Wristcutters: A Love Story director had been a more experienced crew and an innovative writer (Charlie Kaufman, vielleicht?) |
