| When my father was the first to suggest that we view this DivX film Driving Miss Daisy as a family to me all along, this DVD movie Driving Miss Daisy is most likely going to be boring. But I have seen that anyway for the sake of my father and that this is one of my favorite movies of all time (next to The Shawshank Redemption). Morgan Freeman is an actor and his incredible performance with Jessica Tandy was truly amazing. All of his films is certainly on my watch list because he plays so well and their characters makes the character so believable. Morgan Freeman is my favorite actor ... I saw for the first time in The Shawshank Redemption (my favorite DVD film Driving Miss Daisy EVER) and thought it was just an actor loving that movie. But I have seen many of his films too, and all its actions are great! OK .. Back on the subject. The performance of Jessica Tandy as an old man, apparently racist, high strung and very stubborn Jewish woman did this Driving Miss Daisy Comedy film which is ... GREAT! I loved how their relationship with Hoke became enemies (do not need your help and I do not want!) In the largest of friends. (you're my best friend, Hoke). This DivX film Driving Miss Daisy certainly deserves to be nominated as best picture (and it was in 1994, but unfortunately, not win. Forrest Gump took the Oscar.) Jessica Tandy and definitely deserved to win best actress (God rest his soul). Morgan Freeman still needs to win best actor (keep your fingers crossed!) And I hope that soon ... The actor is amazing it is. In general this is a charming family film! I believe that everyone has a story of friendship that should see this Driving Miss Daisy Comedy on its list of tasks! |
| In an era of big blockbusters, and the extravagance of science fiction, this little drama is like water in the desert. "Driving Miss Daisy" will appeal to people tired of noise, nonsense in the Driving Miss Daisy film production. The Driving Miss Daisy film plot is simple: a wealthy Jewish woman and former teacher (Jessica Tandy) wrecks his car (for the countless time), and his son (Dan Akroyd) decides it is time for her to have a driver. Unfortunately for the driver (Morgan Freeman), his boss is a woman of high strung, which refuses to renounce their independence, making their work more difficult than it should be. Moving, sensitive and gentle exploration of bitter rivalry that flourishes in a real friendship. Race relations is a big part of history, but one could argue that the Driving Miss Daisy Comedy is mainly about how it might affect one another soul. Tandy won the Oscar and it is wonderful, and Freeman is his game, his great chemistry is the key to the appeal of the film. It is a sweet and touching film, more complex than it seems at first sight. It is also very fun. It is not a technical breakthrough, but solid entertainment, performed by great professional competence. |
| A blend of drama and comedy with great acting is the best way to summarize the movie. Containing the sassy attitude of Miss Daisy (Tandy), with the joyful spirit of his driver Hoke (Freeman). The plot is good and is not one of those dramas really depressing - in fact its funny in many places. All actors in this Driving Miss Daisy film were great, especially Jessica Tandy and Morgan Freeman. Tandy won Best Actress for her performance, and I think Freeman should have a best actor award. Beware! |
| This DVD film Driving Miss Daisy is so beautiful. Tandy Freeman and warm and makes his characters real (Tandy won an Oscar for his work). Tandy agrees with his driver (free) in a period of years. The plot is so simple, but the direction and acting are beautiful, it's a play, but did equally well on the silver screen to win an Oscar for best picture. This Driving Miss Daisy movie could have been draggedout in 150mins, but it is only together in 99mins. The entire DivX film Driving Miss Daisy is perfect and even at the end made me mourn for what was so sweat. A must see happen, suitable for family viewing, and although its worth seeing again and again. A real winner! 4 **** ~ ~ Robert Haines |
