On July 2nd, communications systems worldwide are sent into chaos by a strange atmospheric interference. It is soon learned by the military that a number of enormous objects are on a collision course with Earth. At first thought to be meteors, they are later revealed to be gigantic spacecraft, piloted by a mysterious alien species. After attempts to communicate with the aliens go nowhere, David Levinson, an ex-scientist turned cable technician, discovers that the aliens are going to attack major points around the globe in less than a day. On July 3rd, the aliens all but obliterate New York, Los Angeles, and Washington. The survivors set out in convoys towards Area 51, a strange government testing ground where it is rumored the military has a captured alien spacecraft of their own. The survivors devise a plan to fight back against the enslaving aliens, and July 4th becomes the day humanity will fight for its freedom. July 4th is their Independence Day...

It would be best, of course, not to review this abomination to all, but it is an immense joy despite throwing all things worthy of a steel tip boot in the face, why not? A compost pile, so could not have been any other country in Hollywood-land, and stacked with a full visual and auditory torture, which is impressive, Will Smith is the hard-fighter pilot who is say, a perforation of foreigners in the face, while providing a nauseating, intelligent comment, the idiot who becomes an alcoholic Everybodys hero, the president showing patriotic spirit, jumping on a jet itself, etc, etc. The message of humanity -holding-hands-when-the-go-get 's so hard is absolutely despicable, and let's face it, when the size of the ships of a foreign country, the only thing would be for sheep (Oh rioja sorry, humans) would be completely annihilated! What a wonderful vision that is! And as a bonus, obviously very patriotic!

The things that make watching ID4 is that something always happens. There are a lot of lines and character of a dimension all have their own characteristics and personality traits. The action scenes are impressive and, indeed, this Independence Day Thriller movie has the largest number of models ever built. Record that will probably never be broken, because digital technology is limiting the use of miniatures. If you can let your hair loose and just want to enjoy a slight film, while the Grand America is propaganda to you, ID4 is for you. Åre are stupid things that happen in ID4? Sure. Reality checked lately? Stupid things happen all the time. But heroic things. Just as bad. Typical fare of old tragedies. I conducted ID4 ancient and honorable tradition of entertainment. And see a work of art, I must say I am impressed again and again while watching this Independence Day movie that most studies have wussed out or Flinch, these filmmakers are not. That came to the plate and tried to hit the ball to death again and again with his bat.
