| To all who have seen the Beowulf Drama movie and read the book, then sorry. For those who did not read the book: The writers of the movie: Beowulf follows the story at all. Beowulf was supposed to pull the arm of Grendel, is not a closed door. Grendel's mother is supposed to have lived in a lake of fire and an ugly witch. Beowulf is also supposed to kill, not to make a dragon with his son. Grendel's mother was only supposed to kill a man when it comes to Herot, not all men of Beowulf. Hrothgar and Beowulf never gave his kingdom. Beowulf is his own. Beowulf, after a long, unsuccessful battle with the dragon is supposed to have died, not having killed the dragon and Wiglaf eventually defeat it. I can not give this DivX Movie Beowulf high marks for its original twist of history, which disappointed that almost everyone in the theater. |
