| In a dark and disagreeable textile factory near a cemetery and infested with rats, many workers are missing. The corrupt manager Warwick (Stephen Macht) is not much attention to this problem, but the exterminator hired Tucker Cleveland (Brad Dourif). He asked Tucker to use less of the poison to reduce costs. Meanwhile, the vagabond John Hall (David Andrews) seeks a job and accepts a position of a textile machine operator on the graveyard shift. What we do not know is that there is a huge creature is in the underground plant to threaten workers. This DivX Movie Graveyard Shift is very unpleasant and disgusting. Although I did not like, in fact the director, actors and actresses are not bad. The problem is the story too dark and rats all the time. Certainly it is highly recommended for a specific audience. | It has been long time since I've seen this movie. I tried to find at the video store the other day but could not find it. This is a college guy who needs to make some money so it is applied in paper mill cotton mill or something like that. While cleaning discover a lot of rats, bats and breeding in the basement. Well I will not say any more or go to finish off the entire movie. Another good Graveyard Shift Horror movie by Stephen King. Some people just can not appreciate good horror / thriller. |
| Right then, I read every review to this one and I have to say .. it's history - which is most of all fruitcake. GRAVEYARD SHIFT is a ripper of admitting an "oddball" film. A few people obviously share this view it is encouraging that at least. The Graveyard Shift Horror is a wonderful character study and I have never found a grotty and depressing more suitable for a dark horror film. Requires little imagination to smell the dirt and debris. David Andrews makes an excellent anti-hero, as college-boy/drifter leading to the factory owner of Warwick ... dislike as a screen presence and so well played by Stephen Macht. Loved the caddy hit sequence. Brad Dourif as the Exterminator was simply out of their tree here - overacting ????? just! Brad Dourif is that we are talking about! Thus, four-fifths of disdain that accumulates in the rat / bat? (this is a reality BAT) What the hell does it matter what it was - a feral chicken, even? I've seen the worst monsters that in my time around horror movies. The production values were high for this Graveyard Shift Horror film was not a rabid el-Cheapo along the lines of Howling II! In case you're interested. I rate this as one of the best horror films of the last millennium. If I'm losing my objectivity, then it must be a case of collective hypnosis, because all family members (and you're talking seriously varied tastes here) likes this movie! I would like to see a rate of 6.75! |
