| It's been a while since I've laughed a lot while watching a movie. This package of six regular Joes actually quite pleasant. And they are played by an excellent cast. Each and every one of them does not look like an actor, if you know what I mean. A great comedy, but also a very moving film. There is nothing funny in the harsh economic reality that these kids (and many others) have to endure. The soundtrack is excellent. There are even Gainsbourg "Je t'aime moi non plus" in it. | "The Full Monty" are all among my favorite movies on time. I've seen in more than thirty times so far and never get tired of it. I think there are characters and moments that we all relate to this movie. Family struggles and work, sense of lost and confused and without direction and motivation. Feeling insecure about their appearance. Financial. It's really a wonderful story. As impressive is the premise that - the working class men doing a striptease - it is written, presented, and acted so well that you can absolutely believe in the story. Difficult times and the despair that these six very different men together for money, and sweetest of all, the love of a child. I left thinking that the characters in this film: Full Monty, The was much better as a result of their experience. A little sound in the pockets and a better understanding of themselves. New friends and new bonds. I guess it was more confidence, hope, and satisfied with their lives. It is an inspiring story told with humor, dignity, and heat. |
| Desperate steelworkers and their boss, who are located outside the city in British hard turn nude dancing as a system of making money. That kids are in the majority of regular physical specimens (a dancer excluded) make it fun, it's a strange kind of marriage than men. The characters and dialogue also makes the Full Monty, The Comedy movie special, it would be nice to see the kids interact even in normal circumstances. The two men driving off, as is Wilkinson as the former head boring finally buying into the idea. Unemployment line scene - where each "dancer" unconsciously through their dance routine when your number is in thread - is a movie: Full Monty, The of all time sequence. Charm of an entertaining performance fabric. |
