| Catch a Fire has many ingredients for a good, maybe a good movie. The actors are fine, the story is interesting, the issues are important and humans, the photography is beautiful. There is a convincing villain with a diabolical charm. The daughter of the villain is rebelling, so there are conflicts in abundance. Take a fire still does not work, you could even call it a failure. How come? The problem, I think, is that almost any topic is fully developed. Many items can be lost easily, so it is mentioned briefly as they are. Take adultery and jealousy. These are essential to the story. Yet we believe that Patrick and precious immediately forgive each other, when Patrick was released. But no, in the aftermath of learning that he divorced shortly afterwards. Or vengeance, see the final scene with Nic Vos. Or the theme of friendship - one half of the film's best friend Patrick disappears. Or Nic Vos' rebel daughter. With a little effort could go on and on. Want to make a fire too - or is too short, depending on what view you take. It wants to present music, drama, action, suspense, politics. | It is unfortunate that this DivX Movie Catch a Fire was so overshadowed by Blood Diamond. Catch a fire had, in my opinion, a much more powerful story. All acting was done perfectly. I loved the picture with the plant in the background. I could really feel the excitement of the African chant and song for freedom. Some would say this movie: Catch a Fire is racist towards whites. It is nothing of that. Even has a white or two on the side of justice. This Catch a Fire Thriller is not the character of Tim Robbin look bad. At least I do not think so. I saw him as a man doing what he thought he had to do to protect your family. I think we have to learn from this story. There are terrorists around the world. We say it is pure evil. We say we will solve the problem of hunting down and killing them. To some, that may be necessary. But most just want justice and want to be heard. |

High and empowered by Derek Luke and Tim Robbin entertainment "Catch a Fire" has the right impact and vibration. There are important political issues raised in a world obsessed with terrorism and also full of good - action scenes on stage. The apartheid era and is well described in the story development in this context is certainly remarkable, although not perfect. Compared to other products on the same subject this one offers a slightly different and more mature and ends with an amazing forgiveness |
