| I really loved this DVD movie Carlito's Way: Rise to Power and is much better the last. I really liked the way he had in Chuck Zito, he was the last one as well, but not really that with this sample that showed him a lot. I like how it plays a better way than the first and hottest way Carlito was the last man. I do not like how they put Sean Combs in it because I have no talent and not to mention not even remember any blacks in the first so it does not make sense to put in it. I would not say whether this movie: Carlito's Way: Rise to Power was Sean Combs in which I would give it a 10 instead of 8. |
| All of you trashing the film: Carlito's Way: Rise to Power ... and everyone is entitled to their opinion, but my question to you if you liked the Carlito's Way: Rise to Power Action or not. Do any of you read the books the way that Carlito was based on the movies. There's so much that could have been put on film, whether they could have done a mini-series. If I'm not mistaken, this new Carlito's Way: Rise to Power Action film focuses on a chapter of history. When I say a chapter, not a chapter of a book. Its an important part of the life of the character. This is the part of Carlito the first major battle in his rise to power. I think the Carlito's Way: Rise to Power Action movie was very good. It could have been much better, but it was not too bad for what it was. Do you expect young people to be both Carlito Carlito as the oldest of the first movie. People change over time, experience and age. Just look at the saga of The Godfather and all changes that happened by Michael Corleone. I think there needs to be more movies to fill in the blanks between the prequel and the original, however. |
| Misleading ... I saw a commercial for Carlitos Way: rise to power that says "From the producer of Scarface and Carlito's Way" LETS GET IT STRAIGHT ... Michael Bergman Scarface did not result in fact was "editing wizard" for Scarface. Not for Bergman's talent ... but in my opinion should of had a little more class. I think I can speak for the masses when I say ... We do not like to be lied shamelessly. Inasmuch as the Carlito's Way: Rise to Power movie goes, I was poor at best. I think Puff Daddy did a good job. Although Luis Guzmán should be ashamed to work in this film. Overall this DivX Movie Carlito's Way: Rise to Power did a good job filling in the blanks to Carlito's Way. Clearly this project is an attempt to make money fast and not a good film. |
| A complete and utter slap in the face to DePalma and Pacino. Should I even explain the plot? An increase in the slums to the rich in the ghetto streets of Harlem .... yawn! Boring! What makes a truly amazing DVD movie Carlito's Way: Rise to Power Carlitos Way was the simple act of telling stories and characters to explain how he came to where it was. Shame on those who greenlit this project. Prequel? No. Story? No. Sean Puff Dadd Piffy davina farty? N º. Pass. Best movies out there. Go rent Number 23 with Jim Carrey. Trust me .. you lauh difficult. |
