| When a group of terrorists threatening to explode a nuclear weapon in Los Angeles, FBI agent Callie Ferris (Julianne Moore) is in the Las Vegas magician Cris Johnson and smalltime thief aka Frank Cadillac (Nicolas Cage) to find the hope that the device is hidden. | What movie! What Plot? What action! What originality! What a mess and what a shame that movie: Next ran out before they could fire the final. Nicolas gives us another Cagey performance with that direction. Fortunately, we left to guess what his "deep reflection" as it looks blankly into space (as always). In this film, we have to read his mind. Many times we seem to be watching a video game and moves around the cage as a star of the arcade, doubling, tripling, infinitizing itself. | What a disappointing summer of alleged movies, huh. WRONG! We just want to be entertained, and action is part of that, but so is the story, dialogue, action, etc., not on all fronts. I read a comment from users about them here really understand the deep story telling and drama, and tense action sequences, so I thought this might be worth seeing.
