| Cynical, seen-it-all smart-ass before, I can not help but love 'True Romance'! On paper it looks like a sure fire recipe for disaster. A general hip-pop culture saturated schlockmeister Quentin Tarantino script directed by Tony Scott, the man responsible for rancio Simpson / Bruckheimer "blockbusters" like 'Top Gun' and 'Days of Thunder. "But somehow what really works! The DivX Movie True Romance is above all the help of a cast of dynamite, one of the most impressive in many years. Possibly only Julian Schnabel understated biopic "Basquiat" can compete with its mix of star power and cult faves. Slater, Arquette, Walken, Hopper, Oldman, Kilmer, Penn, Sizemore, Jackson, Rapaport, Gandolfini, Argo, Corrigan, etc.etc. These are many of the best actors working today. Add to a love story to electrical leakage, jam-filled funny and very quotable dialogue and a lot of action and laughter, and you have a real entertainment update on a classic'70s DivX Movie True Romance unit. | I think the way to see this DivX film True Romance depends on what kind of blasphemy and violence can be tolerated. If that is not the stage where all you like and hard, rough characters, this True Romance Romance is the crime of his cup of tea. " I found this to be one of those movies that became a little more sordid times I saw him and went from a rating of "9" to a "6" after three visits, and then out of my collection. | I consider myself half fan film. My DVD collection is modest, about 125 titles, but nothing compared to the thousands who are my friends. I prefer to watch the news or a documentary of a fictional film, so I was skeptical when a friend from work recommended this DivX Movie True Romance and I said it was one of the greatest of all time. I ventured to the video store that night and, with reservations, that is the DVD movie True Romance on the shelf and checked out. Fast forward three hours ... This DVD film True Romance is perfect in all respects. Have a great direction, excellent casting, great dialog, good music, the whole package. Each actor does an excellent job in his role and you feel you really get to know the main characters. This is by far the best movie: True Romance of all Tarantino. I'm not sure why this DivX film True Romance is not in the IMDb Top 250 ", I guess because it is relatively unknown. Please, please see this movie. You will be absolutely not disappoint. I've recommended this DivX Movie True Romance to many friends and family members and so far I have not had one person say they were disappointed. This is not "Reservior Dogs" or "Pulp Fiction" is a modern love story (not a SAPPY, Suspense), mixed with hard-core action, and gangsters. Before seeing this True Romance movie I always said that "Lonesome Dove" and "The Godfather" tied for my favorite True Romance movie of all time .... However, after seeing this movie, is now a three-way split. |
