The most terrible completely adapt the source material I've had the misfortune to see. Even if the book itself was dross (the book series is magical, beautiful and impressive in the way that Harry Potter can only dream of being) that still have been a slap in the face to the source. The casting was terrible, without exception. The story was dumbed down and chopped into pieces. Are the producers and the director really think the American public is so stupid that references to the legend Aurthurian is beyond their ability to get? Insulting in the extreme. I see no other explanation for this is a cheap, exploitative, cynical to get money from all parties involved. Shame. Shame on them.

Seldom have I been so disappointed, I actually came out of this Seeker: The Dark Is Rising, The Fantasy film halfway through, not caring how this debacle final. With such a rich text to extract, in this DVD movie Seeker: The Dark Is Rising, The could have been impressive, the plot is pathetic, the characterization of all evil, dialogue cliché nonsense, what were they thinking. Why they had to change the settings outside the Celtic mythology and Saxon have no idea. Whole heart and soul is not in history. All those involved in the production of this DivX Movie Seeker: The Dark Is Rising, The should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves, they have chopped off a valuable thousands of childhood memories of the peoples of this tightening-ass sauce celluloid.
