Jake Green is a hotshot gambler, long on audacity and short on common sense. He's rarely allowed to play in any casino because he is a winner. Jake has taken in so much money over the years, he is the only client of his accountant and older brother Billy. One night, Jake, Billy and their other brother Joe are invited to sit in on a private game, where Jake is expected to lose to Dorothy Macha, a crime boss and local casino owner who can't play for squat, but always wins because people are too scared to beat him. Jake isn't afraid of Macha, and not only beats Dorothy in a quick game of chance, but takes every possible opportunity to insult the man. Jake and his brothers leave the game, and Macha puts out the order for a hit on Jake, who ends up working for and being protected by a pair of brothers, Avi and Zack, who are out to take Macha down.

As some have already mentioned Guy Ritchie's name is synonymous with "Snatch" and "Lock, stock and two smoking barrels" so there is a certain amount of expectation that accompanies this film. While I acknowledge that I have had some of my own expectations, not necessarily fit the confines of what Guy Ritchie has taken place normally in the past. Just look for good Revolver movie making. This Revolver film I had to go and figured since the final was not a surprise. This Revolver Crime is very ambitious and I recommend to Ritchie, because without experience in the Revolver Crime world who stay with the same thing over and over again. However, I do not think much achieved what was being sought in the creation of this movie. It is a complex and confusing with poetic imagery and quotes that seem lost in a screen of confusion and bewilderment. I understand what the DVD movie Revolver was trying to say, I just do not believe that their method is effective at all. Above all, this is a huge disappointment and I hope the future works that reflect that Ritchie has learned from this disaster. A view is quite clear why this DVD film Revolver has not been a success. My hat still goes to Ritchie as he is a phenomenal writer / director. This just happens to be one of his worst films.

This Revolver Crime movie is my gauge against which all other films as compared to ... "Was so stupid as Revolver?" I too was at the Festival Internacional de Cine de Toronto audience last night in a room filled with more than 2000 people walked into a mysterious silence after it was absolutely dumbstruck by 2 hours of pure nonsense. Jason Stratham would have been surprising if he only had a purpose. Within the first 10 minutes has given a proposal by Andre 3000 and Big Pussy (Soprano of fame), which makes no sense at all! Then there are a few shots and then use Ray Liotta is embarrassing bikini briefs, then there are some animation, Ray Liotta's bare back, many shots, gnashing teeth, want to be art house pretensions Liotta and most embarrassing of the body which caused laughter in each sample .. . I'm not quite sure of the reaction was I was looking for ... 5 times anyway. Everyone thinks that this DVD film Revolver is smarter than the average bear and Guy Ritchie believes he has incarnated Yogi Bear. The story lines may have failed, but the position was given away! The only way this Revolver Crime could have been worse is if Madonna herself was in it.

After reading the comments on the site I feel compelled to write for the first time. Apparently, this Revolver Crime movie is like Marmite, and has divided the audience. I must say that while I agree that movies have no sense to be nice (see Mulholland Drive) that have yet to engage with the characters. Now, while I was totally absorbed by the murderous lesbian in the Lynch book, I must say that I could not give Mr Green a Turd cardboard or other dayglo gangsters who inhabit this world. Moreover, while many people seem to say that because they do not enjoy would disagree - I liked it because it was boring. I wanted to end the Revolver Crime and listen to appointments constantly over and over again does not help. If you want to call it smart - I think it is repetitive. However, my main reason for writing is to ask everyone a question the other reviewers - there is no end credits on the Revolver Crime film print I saw. Music only in black. I see a print fault claim or evidence of genetic resources? Or, not everyone involved in the Revolver film see the rough cut and removed his name?
