| I just finished watching this DivX Movie Mad City and I must say I'm impressed. Everyone in the world should be exposed to the truth of what the national media has at its disposal, the power to move public opinion one way or the other. This DVD movie Mad City depicts the last time exactly what I am afraid that many are ignorant, and that is that what we see and hear on our televisions every day is in the palm of executives and celebrities (news ) who run the networks. I was amazed at the amount of detail that was put into this Mad City film to show exactly that. Nothing is left unsaid. Bravo, too unknown to production. |
| Man, it was an indictment of the television journalist, the mentality! Is exaggerated, of course, but still interesting to see, and in many ways, good to see because of the onslaught of tabloid journalism mentality that seems to have taken over the media in recent years. This type of "reporting" should be exposed and ridiculed. Whatever, you can enjoy this movie: Mad City for the acting alone with Dustin Hoffman, John Travolta, Alan Alda, Robert Prosky, Ted Levine and Mia Kirschner. These actors and some dialogue, to move the Mad City Drama movie along at a good image despite the lack of much happening on screen. The story in question and it reminds me of the famous Mad City Drama film of the 70s in the afternoon Day of dogs, in which much of the DVD film Mad City takes place in a bank. Here is a museum, and a man in a situation like Al Pacino in the movie, except Travolta's character is totally innocent. The writers added some humor to the story and involvement that made it even better. It's very good entertainment, and certainly recommended. |
| Underestimated, it is safe. I was surprised by the low Rattinger on IMDb for this Mad City Drama film and also that no one had said, "Hey you see this movie." I think John Travolta gives one of his best performances and Dustin Hoffman is amazing as always and a great supporting cast. Sure this Mad City film does not have the intensity of other films with the same basic concepts, but that's what makes it unique. I find it interesting that the majority of DivX film Mad City critic reviews of this DivX Movie Mad City are not very good, I wonder if that has anything to do with its content. The DivX Movie Mad City focuses on the media and the damage they can cause, sometimes by stirring the pot or reporting news then, how you want to be seen. Therefore, the Mad City film critics who are part of the media, most hate this movie, hmmm? Anyway a great movie: Mad City with great performances that deserve more attention and accolades it has received below. |
