| Why on earth does this have only a 5.1? In my opinion, this was much better than the storm of the century, which has a 7.1 (all scores from 5/30/08). The plot is very well written. An alien craft buried gradually become citizens of a small town in the mind-reading, odd-gizmo-invent slavery. The acting was excellent. Great performances by Jimmy Smits, Marg Helgenberger, John Ashton, Robert Carrdine, Joanna Cassidy, and Allyce Beasley. The music was very strange, and very appropriate. The CGI is very good too, especially for a 1993 DVD movie Tommyknockers, The and TV series. There were some very dramatic scenes, and lots of interesting little plots here and there. All these together a King Classic, but does not seem to get the recognition it deserves. 8 / 10. |
| I read the book The Tommyknockers is based on a meeting. Is the book that made me find Stephen King's writing method. Create pleasant characters makes you care about them, then takes great pleasure in killing them off as horrible as possible! This Tommyknockers, The film has a fairly decent job of bringing the book to life. I thought the cast was good, and the special effects were outstanding. It was scary, and reflection. It is only 8 because, as with most things Stephen King, in my opinion, foreigners were not as scared as I imagined to be in the book! However, it is not a bad way to spend some time, however. |
| Sitting through this Tommyknockers, The film is a true odyssey: as with all turkeys Stephen King, this film: Tommyknockers, The is long and time seems to never think of anything. At the end I could not believe that there was no purpose in this movie, let alone a plot. Stephen King movies are either visitors or strange while some adaptations of his books have become great movies (The Shining, Shawshank Redemption, Green Mile), while others may fall into the category of worst movies ever - Tommyknockers, Langoliers, Cujo, Christine and all necessary things come to mind. Avoid this DivX Movie Tommyknockers, The at all costs. I prefer to sit through 3 hours of cooking shows to see this Tommyknockers, The Horror movie again! |

| I really loved this movie. I do not know why people do not like much. I'm not really into alien movies, but this one was very good! The actors are excellent. Smitts Jimmy was great. Marg Helgenberger is one of my favorite actresses and played its amazing. It was really credible and I thought the casting was awesome! This was not really a horror film, but it's kind of weird. There was also some sadness in the end, when Gard and died of his poem was recited. If you are looking for a scary movie, not this one. If you just want to see a Tommyknockers, The film with great acting, an interesting plot and good special effects this is the one for you! |
