I thought that Robin Williams was careful about how they took a License to Wed movie night, but sometimes even the best can make mistakes. This DVD movie License to Wed was a big mistake, but Robin Williams managed to escape with a few smiles, but I found his humor only works if you turn off other interesting characters around him. Wednesday license no. The story begins with Sadie (Mandy Moore) and Ben (John Krasinski), a couple who are much in love, and really want to get married, but Reverned Frank (Robin Williams) wants to put through series of tests of insanity, with the to demonstrate the love of another. The big problem for me it was not a bit funny, with the exception of Robin Williams, the rest of the film: License to Wed was kind of depressing. Mainly because of the nature Sadie and Ben, there's a little funny at first, but just humor disappears quickly. Poor Ben just comes across as a pleasant Schmoe, who takes it, but when he dishes, everyone looks to him like he should not have done that. Sadie and the character is annoying because the movie: License to Wed spends most of Ben devalue, and they do not realize they are doing. American Dreamz was not (2006) sufficient for the humiliation of a Mandy Moore. Only Robin Williams makes this License to Wed Romance memorable.
I really wanted to like this film, in theory, has the right of all the elements for a strong comedy, but I was very disappointed. I went to see this License to Wed film today at a 12:30 showing. The audience was a good mix of older couples, young marrieds, teenagers, a few stray individual, a family or two - well-rounded an audience, so to speak. That hearing went well rounded and a half hours with Robin Williams, god of comedy, with not one good laugh. There were a few minor things like poop jokes and smiles to get a man smell in the face with a baseball, but that was all we could. Mandy Moore is light (but not much to do, I would like a better selection of features, I really like her), her instantly and totally forgettable in every sense, the rest of the very talented cast (the best man was charming, his relationship with his wife, hilarious, and he was all of 4 minutes of screen time) inevitably abusive and unfunny Robin Williams as the man can get. The "plot", so to speak, consisted of Robin Williams as a minister of plotting to make the future marriage of Mandy Moore and torturing one another for strength in every step and doing such things as love hearing his department to ensure not to have premarital sex prohibited. It is a chilling and disturbing and predictable and boring, and the worst sin of all for an alleged comedy, not funny.
This License to Wed Romance movie is simply wrong. But since I'm bothering to write this, I go into more detail than that, right? The DVD movie License to Wed was vulgar and offensive, all the more tragic because of the potential hilarity of Robin Williams and the potential of likability Jon Krasinski and Mandy Moore. Synopsis: Two Cuties together. (Oh, sweet.) Then comes the bad marital counseling Moore Bizarre pastor, played by Robin Williams. Williams, in all its ridiculous antics, is with the complicity of a creepy child (sorry, no offense meant to the child the child actor - I'm sure the Creepiness was in the paper), which tries to be cutely precocious, but basically as a nuisance, all we know, chilling, snot-nosed little brat. Only saw half hours in the movie: License to Wed because it was so cringe-inducing, disgusting, unfunny and insulting to the relationship. I walked out and caught the last one of the brave. Unless you enjoy bathroom humor, skip it. You will thank me.
LICENSE Wednesday (2007) * Robin Williams, many Moore, John Krasinski, Eric Christian Olsen, Christine Taylor, Josh Flitter, Deray Davis, Peter Strauss, Roxanne Hart, Grace Zabriskie, Mindy Kalinga, Angela Kinsey, Rachael Harris, Brian Baumgartner, Bob Balaban. Tasteless, sit-com and high-concept comedy about a young married couple put to the test by the bride-to-be's family minister (Williams a surprisingly quiet), which happens to be a holy terror in the process. Unfortunately unfunny screenplay by Ken Barker, Tim Rasmussen, Vince Di Meglio and Wayne Lloyd underwhelming and direction by Ken Kwapis (who has worked with Krasinski and his cronies OFFICE - many presented in this mess to boot - before, with the highest hilarious results ).
My friend and I were so excited to see this License to Wed movie when we saw the trailer for License to Wednesday, it seemed an amusing comedy. But when we hear all the bad reviews, we were a little hesitant, but figured that still wanted to see and why not? I do not have any comments on IMDb horrible, yes, there were a couple of things wrong with the movie, but it seemed that nobody wanted to enjoy this movie. I'm not saying this to offend anyone, just not how you can not laugh at least once in this DVD movie License to Wed when it was just a nice romantic comedy that is better than most. Sadie and Ben are a happy couple, after just six months they feel that they are willing to marry and to marry. Sadie, but wishes to be married in the church of their parents were married in the family and their minister, Frank. Frank is not going to give this guy an easy time, however, he proves that from heaven to hell to see if they are really ready for marriage and the reality little by little that could be wrong and different in their relationship. Now, I recognize that some of the situations were predictable and unbelievable, but I think if left to go and have fun, you are laughing. This License to Wed Romance film was all in good fun, I loved the scene where they have to find out what it was like having children. Babies mechanics as ugly and just awful, but so funny! I expected a nice and funny movie, and that is what I have to leave Wednesday, so do not rely on the IMDb reviews, go and have fun! 6 / 10
