| Well, this Sunday I went to one of the fox sneak previews here in Austria and saw the movie. First I thought .. bueno .. a good fantasy In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale film ... (you know .. like everyone else, I love the lord of the rings), but as soon as it started .... The entire DVD film In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale was cracked due to unintentional funny dialogues in this film. This is really unbelievable! The writing should leave his job! My absolute favorite scene is when he told farmers that the king is his father ... I was laughing so hard that even I began to mourn ... if not for this, would have mourned the loss of time in this film. Anyway .. bad if you like stupid movies and dialogues, you'll love this .. (think of it as an unintended parody of lord of the rings). If you expect a good, solid fantasy DVD film In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale - forget it. Of course, nothing compares with the lord of the rings, but this is just a funny funny. I just do not understand how players like Mr. Liotta, Davies and Reynolds could take place in this ... pero bueno ... could have been a coincidence. Cheers! |
| I went to see this In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale film because I needed some time to kill, and more than 2 hours' duration, this seemed like a decent candidate. Boy, was I wrong. Like those who have written before me, I would say that this DVD movie In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale was bitten, which ever is being a scene / actor of more than 5 minutes at a time. The back and forth between all the characters makes you feel a little overwhelmed at first, but after a while when I get to understand the plot that is merely annoying. It's like the director is saying "Well, now we have to show what happens to these characters in the right second," even if what they are is irrelevant to the court. The act is underwhelming, as is the script. The script calls for the cast to sound lofty or poetic, at times, but only comes out as cheesy. The argument was a bit extravagant, but I can not complain here as I knew I could be like it was a fantasy. So you think that special effects to rescue it as it is a great Action / Adventure / Fantasy type? Sorry, the monsters do not look more than a pile of mud-colored mud carry armor, the battle scenes are not anything special, magic and special effects were nothing we have not seen before, with a few twists. Pros: Jason Statham finally shows that a Boomerang can be a deadly weapon. Much better than Paul Hogan in Crocodile Dundee. Cons: bitten, too long, bad acting, bad script, sub-par effects. |
| Now I know this is not as cinematically competent as "The Lord of the Rings." And to be honest, the Lord of the Rings had a rich and detailed collection of books to use to its history. While Dungeon Siege is an action game like baldurs gate. Uwe Boll is a lot of hatred from the viewers of cinema, and if this In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale Fantasy film was directed by a Hollywood director, who certainly have more comments (5 or 6 out of 10). This In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale Fantasy is better than Eragon, I'm sure most people would agree. There are a few niggles in Dungeon Siege. The fact that the "Krug" seem LOTR orc rip-offs, and editing is a bit messy (too fast at times in the fight scenes). But overall, the DVD film In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale has a fairly decent story to it. What else is the fact that it includes some big names well-respected actors in it. And it's not your usual stereotypical roles well. Some do work (Burt Reynolds), while others do not (Ray Liotta). Sanderson was playing well alongside Jason Statham and Ron Perlman. Shows that Uwe Boll has an eye for acting talent. Too many movies these days are all long, drawn to the rubbish that have DivX Movie In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale and Oscar pleasant. This is like the good old days of the 80s fantasy movies (Krull, for example). If you liked Krull, be well. If you like Uwe Boll, check out my fan-www.bollmovies.8m.com |
| To my surprise this movement was not total failure. No doubt a masterpiece, but it does not work. I think the name Uwe Boll does more harm than the quality of the In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale Fantasy itself. In reality, however, enjoy this DVD film In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale a lot. The argument is very simple, yes, but that alone is not reason to think a bad movie. The actors do their work. Some with more enthusiasm than others, I admit, but all in all the cast seem to have a good time and it shows. The sets are pretty decent and the FX are abysmal. My verdict: If you're a fan of the genre, see. Will not be the experience of his life, but it is likely that a fun evening with friends and popcorn. |
