| Masters of the Universe is by no means a great Masters of the Universe film or movie, but it is a great roller coaster ride across the border from fantasy that leaves the audience satisfied and impressed with the representation of Skeletor, in particular, whether the mask incomplete. Epic battle sequences and plot twists with the characters unbelievability help shake the notion that Dolph Lundgren, or Ivan Drago from Rocky IV, whichever you prefer, has submitted his boxing gloves and replaced them with the sword of Gray Skull. Yes it is very skittish throughout the Masters of the Universe Sci-Fi movie and lacks the charisma to really expect from He-Man, but when the moment of truth is that he is right when he says, "I have the power!" |
| There is much to like about this funny DivX Movie Masters of the Universe based on the popular cartoon series and toys. It is a surprisingly entertaining Masters of the Universe film offers plenty of pleasant escapism. Dolph Lundgren as He-Man is a fun casting choice. He looks the part! My favorite part of the DVD movie Masters of the Universe is the evil Skeletor. It's awesome! Frank Langella was a perfect choice! He is very nice evil in every scene in which he! It's great! Like He-Man? Give this DVD movie Masters of the Universe a try. Collect the new "Best Of" Masters of the Universe DVD animated too. Can not beat the fun of He-Man on DVD if they "get" this sort of thing. I had a blast watching the Masters of the Universe Sci-Fi movie and the cartoon. Enjoy! |
| I first saw this DivX Movie Masters of the Universe way back in 80, and most recently held the DVD. I am pleased to say that still enjoy it as much as I did then! While the decision to place part of the story in 1980's suburban America, planet Earth is certainly one way to keep the budget low, the end result is still very fun, and the main characters manage to stay close to their original characters. Naturally, however, I loved seeing something else instead of Eternia. Unfortunately, the promised sequel never came to be. Frank Langella is simply amazing, its larger then life image of Skeletor may be different from what they did in the TV series, but it works very well. All commands can be found on the scene, and his performance is subtle and powerful at certain times. Wonderful! Incidentally, be sure to watch until the end credits are over ... Dolph Lundgren, although perhaps not the most eloquent thespian Langella ie, a formidable old hero. |
| When I was 5 or 6 I used to be the greatest man that he fan of all time. I would run around my house in my undies HE-MAN and shout, "I have the power", with my plastic sword in his hand. This Masters of the Universe Sci-Fi is a classic as (STAR WARS) good vs evil plot, with a happy ending, except STAR WARS has no fresh undies! It has some memorable characters as guildor the locksmith, the key sparks cosmic adventure to the land. Heman who is the hero of legions stormtrooper-esk characters with his sword. Great Masters of the Universe film when they are growing, something you will never forget. I think in this one showing my children when they are growing. Skeletor would wish fulfilled his promise at the end of the film. This requires a sequel! |
| One of the greatest action Masters of the Universe film of all time! Although a major failure at the box office, this Masters of the Universe Sci-Fi film is great for 2 reasons: 1. Frank Langella (under rated in a big way, as Skelator fantastic! 2. 80 The large, we believe that we all love! I have no idea why this DivX Movie Masters of the Universe was not very successful. Lynn is absolutely appalling bad as hell and fantastically played by Meg Foster. Dolph was even a little square in the film: Masters of the Universe is credible, and does so successfully. I bought this DVD a couple of years ago and memories of town my child hood. So now that I see at least once every two months. |
