Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is the first film in the Harry Potter series based off the novels by J.K. Rowling. It is the tale of Harry Potter, an ordinary 11-year-old boy serving as a sort of slave for his aunt and uncle who learns that he is actually a wizard and has been invited to attend the Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. Harry is snatched away from his mundane existence by Hagrid, the grounds keeper for Hogwarts, and quickly thrown into a world completely foreign to both him and the viewer. Famous for an incident that happened at his birth, Harry makes friends easily at his new school. He soon finds, however, that the wizarding world is far more dangerous for him than he would have imagined, and he quickly learns that not all wizards are ones to be trusted.

In the first outing of Harry Potter, he learns of his magical offspring of a fund and enrolling in school of witchcraft and magic 'Hogwarts' The construction of this great character magical adventure of Harry and his friends Hermione (a couple of very talented bruges) and Ron (Harry's best friend) in the search for the philosopher's stone, a stone of great outcome for the murderer of the parents of Harry (Voldomort) Not having read the books, i can not make comparisons, but even as a single movie, this makes a good fantasy adventure, fun for all ages. The characters are great, the scenery is wonderful and there is enough magic charm and entertain us all. 8 / 10

I turned to look at the two Chris Columbus directed the Harry Potter movies. These were the most light and pleasant fantasy that light. Mr. Ollivander: Curious ... very curious ... Harry: Excuse me, sir, but curious? Mr. Ollivander: I remember every wand I've sold, Mr. Potter. Just happens that the phoenix tailfeather that resides in your wand gave another ... only one other. It is curious that it should be allocated to this magic wand ... when his brother gave him that scar. Harry: And who owned that wand? Mr. Ollivander: We do not speak your name! The wand chooses the wizard, Mr. Potter. It is not always clear why. But I think it is clear that we can expect great things from you. After all, Who-who-must-not-be-named did great things. Terrible! Yes, but big. This is the Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone Family that Harry discovers who he is. Others know more about what he does. We are introduced to all the major characters we have come to know and love: Daniel Radcliffe (with clothes), Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, Maggie Smith, Tom Felton, Robbie Coltrane and, in particular. We see the spectacular art and decorations, in particular in the Great Hall of Stuart Craig (art director) and Stephanie McMillan (set decorator). Costune design Judianna Makovsky and music by John Williams makes this Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone Family movie one to remember. The special effects were fantastic. With the close supervision of author JK Rowling and its unprecedented adoption of all aspects of the film, we know that we will achieve something that no annoying book fans, and we did.
