| I liked this movie. I liked the way the special effects were made, although I have seen some comments that do not like. Franco does a good job with the lead part. Also seen in 'Annapolis,' which was not so good. Rene Russo, was also very good at this. I went to this with my dad and I enjoyed it too. If you can see this DVD movie Flyboys on the screen can be larger than a smaller screen, it would not air scenes justice. Well acted and well done. It is not Oscar material, but you can enjoy this Flyboys film if you like action movies good and just want to have fun at the movies. I will be buying this DVD. |
| I went and saw a really nice Flyboys Romance that quite frankly, I almost would not bother if it were not for my friend, suggesting that. The DivX film Flyboys stars James Francis of the spiderman movies that have really managed to find himself a really good role that distinguishes him as someone who can do a good job with dramatic roles.He really take on a "James Dean" type of presence throughout the film. This is a very accurate portrayal of "dogfights" in WW1. The action was incredible, but not outside of reality. The authenticity of real things were back then was in a great scale. You really gives an idea of how it was for them at that time to the last detail. The story itself is suspended until the very end and even manage to give a realistic love story "that actually happen between a man and a woman in the war. You can really feel the sense of 'honor' and 'brotherhood' among pilots. This is undoubtedly a true "man of the movie. |
| This DVD movie Flyboys was fun for me. I liked the action and story. I found it educational to learn a little about the launching of aircraft as weapons of war. I also believe that the Flyboys Romance helped explain why some Americans were involved in fighting in WW I before America officially entered the war. I enjoyed the dogfight scenes and found to be very credible and the whole DivX Movie Flyboys was a "big budget" feel to it. It was reported that because 60 million was spent. He was good enough, and although the special effects were abundant were not the only reason to see this movie. A good work has made the development of the characters and the DVD film Flyboys I did not pull in. I am always a fan of "dogfight" WW I movies or films. Often just paste together from old news footage. This seems to be a much better made than most. I think it was a good way for me to spend a couple hours of my time and fun to watch. My wife even enjoyed it, and it is not normal "type of movie. |
