| Besides the bad mood and made shallower's antics, I never could find the humor in a group of people who have opposing beliefs mobb. The plot is an example of how the family is mobb for refusing to celebrate Christmas, and for me this reminds me a lot to the many other stories of the 1960s south of Salem witch hunt, communist Russia to Nazi Germany . Even if the setting is innocent, the content is the same. In the end, the Kranks are redeemed for full observance of Christmas, and all is well, I suppose, and all the Jews who converted to Christianity during the first half of the 20th century. If you are tolerant and compassionate, not to see this movie, which will lead to ruin, and the spirit of Christmas. If you do not understand what you wrote in this review, just go ahead and see the Christmas with the Kranks film ... probably like it. |
| I have no idea why people are complaining about this movie. I've heard more complaints about this than the current President in office. I thought this was a good movie. The story is about a family whose daughter is apparently for the holidays. The family played by Jamie Lee Curtis and Tim Allen decides to go on a cruise ship on Christmas Day. As on the day her daughter called saying that she goes home for Christmas. Now the family has to celebrate Christmas or more. This Christmas with the Kranks film is not very funny, but it's pretty funny that I laugh here or there. Above all, I was interested in the plot. Cheese is a little, but absolutely nothing wrong. The soundtrack is average, but I like listening to Christmas songs. Harry Potter's script, director Chris Columbus could have written better. In general, this is a good DVD film Christmas with the Kranks to make you feel good. I rate this Christmas with the Kranks Family film an 8 / 10. |
| When Luther and Nora Krank (Tim Allen and Jamie Curtis, respectively) decide to take a cruise at sea, leu of having a Christmas of a sort, in part because their daughter Blair in the Peace Corps, its neighbors are not particularly news, that drew the ire of Frohmeyer Vic (Dan Aykroyd), the self-proclaimed "head of the neighborhood." A battle of wits ensues (pardon my laughter, I never thought of going anywhere near writing the word "genius" in connection with this film). It's the little things that make this film: Christmas with the Kranks worth seeing. Those little nitpicks like Curtis Allen and not have any chemistry whatsoever, and the movie: Christmas with the Kranks is not particularly funny or clever or whatever, but my biggest complaint is that the talented John Grisham often choose to move away from what he does best ( ie. room dramas), but hopefully the amazing travesty that this Christmas with the Kranks Family is for it has been shown not to deviate from their true talent. | Normally one goes to the movies to relax, have a light entertainment. This film, however, did not promote relaxation or entertainment. None of the characters are particularly endearing, especially Jamie Lee Curtis. There is an episode of the television series "The X-Files" that something parallel to the plot of this movie. If you are an "X-Files" fan, and I've seen this movie, I'm sure you've made the connection too. However, if you have not seen this DVD film Christmas with the Kranks and like the movies about the mass hysterics and abnormal behavior, then this may be the Christmas with the Kranks Family movie for you. But for everyone else looking for a light holiday treat, stay away from this horrible feature. |
| I went to see this evil after reading reviews. Why? Because my wife wanted to see it. So, going with the knowledge that it would not be good, I brace for the worst. I will not disappoint. It is worse than I expected. From a slow start, most unfunny half the slushy end. I think he laughed once, botox scene, and once is not enough for a "comedy." Even the stars seemed to struggle. Tim Allen should have learned from The Santa Clause 2. I loved the first 2 but it is extremely serious. STOP MAKING MOVIES Christmas! So, as my summary, horrible. Be warned. |
