| I would have to agree with the positive comments that offer less than your database, we have tried more than 3 nights to see this DVD movie Rat Race and found only "irritant" bad, I really do not think that once laughed and usually has to take again especially when John Cleese refers (and it was ridiculous with her teeth!) Never mind better luck next time. |
| He delayed viewing this movie: Rat Race for so long since I had my doubts, but finally I decided to give him a chance and I regret it. I like no brainers fs Zucker of "Airplane!", "Naked Gun" and the likes, but it was too superficial and one direction. The premise of the "rat race" is "Cannonball" series concept. Some people have been randomly selected to race from point A to point-Las Vegas Ba town in New Mexico. Whoever comes first gets $ 2 million. If I have to highlight my favorite of this group would in fact be a loss for an answer: all of them are equally boring and uninteresting. I would not recommend this DVD movie Rat Race to my friends. With the exception of the few amusing moments as the rest is just boring. I have rarely had to resort to fast-forward button on my remote control. 6 out of 10 statistics. |
| The DivX Movie Rat Race is a kind of funny but not enough to forgive funny how cheesy. They use the same jokes over and over again throughout the film. The finish is horrible. On a good note, John Cleese is great. |
| I saw this Rat Race Adventure in a theater and 50 percent is a rip off. The only funny scene is of two high school dropouts adolescents. They are trying to mourn and to open the door slowly. They are unable to escape the car, whereas if I remember correctly, a monster truck is trying to jump a row of cars and their car is the latest in a line. -Paul |
| I laughed throughout this comic masterpiece, and so did me all the world, aged 60 to 12 (I'm somewhere in between). Nothing much to say except that there are hits and misses and the need is far greater than the jokes that are flat. Its just a lot of fun and I liked the ending, which seems to have generated unfair critcism - was the perfect way to finish the film. I plan to see at least three more times while it is in theaters with the hope of getting other people to see it. It's really good and I want to support this Throwback comedy, while still playing (not exactly set the box office on fire for opening weekend). And laughter, a great time at the movies .. who could ask for more? |
| Since then, enjoy the original movie, but this remake just did not have everything. The plot is not the best, most characters are a bad joke and the performance was far from splendid. The only time I could really laugh (probably because I am a student of history and on top of that, from Germany, and therefore knew what was meant) in the scene with the Barbie Museum. I was watching this in a cinema in Scotland and apart from me, no one seemed to be joking ... I wonder how in the U.S. (or anywhere else for that matter). Besides, the classic is still far ahead of it. So why try to make a new version of a classic when you can not even be near them? |
