| I watch an average of 4 movies a week and this is the best Martian Child movie I've seen this year and makes my top 5 list of all time. This Martian Child Drama is at its best. Everything could not be better, acting, direction, script, casting, music, everything! As a parent the joys and the hard parts of parenting is insightful, carefully and accurately presented, both as humor and simple context. Sense of joy and sadness are both delivered without exaggeration. The theme of abandonment beaten a strong chord in me that had not been touched for a long time and some new knowledge and healing an old wound.
