| I've seen this DivX Movie Equilibrium and still sends chills through my spine. What an AMAZING movie. Many people compared with the matrix alone, but this Equilibrium Thriller film has more depth and tension that compared two Matrix films. I've been a big Matrix fan and decided to go see this for two reasons: 1. Christian Bale, whom I loved from the American Psycho (which is a great actor), 2. that says a parent is wrong. But damn, this Equilibrium Thriller film is much better. To say it like Jim Carey in Batman & Robin: Her (The Matrix) the entry was good, its (equilibrium) was better. I am recommending this movie: Equilibrium to everyone I see, there are no words to describe its uniqueness (the shootings are impressive, and differ greatly from the matrix) and the story that gives an incredible 1984-movie feel. Just when you think the movie: Equilibrium is not surprising even more frankly AWESOME plot takes these twists and turns, and still more surprising. Here they want to make a Equilibrium movie before a 12 +, so I give this a 10, but I mean before 10 I would like a 24 +++++!!!! This movie: Equilibrium is a MUST SEE, it should have been a success. Really. And if I had something to say about it gives me an actor Christian Bale for his role in this film. This is, from now on I am a Balehead. AWESOME. |
| I thought this was an excellent movie. The plot is simple and straightforward, and some interesting twists. He is a man of his base defeating oppressive system, but it is done with style. Preston of Christian Bale was a great character, and his performance is so convincing that you're feeling exactly the same way that his character, which is a rarity in movies these days. The setting of the Equilibrium movie is good, because it shows the oppressive sadness that the people could go live, but just to see what best to describe it. There seems a long time to get into theaters, it is unfortunate. This DVD movie Equilibrium has gone before The Matrix, or even if it has been more publicity, I think it could have been a great success. While Matrix has some influence, there are very few similarities. This Equilibrium Thriller has an excellent story, brilliant acting and fantastic fight scenes. In fact, I think fighting routine in this Equilibrium Thriller film far superior to that of The Matrix, which largely depend on flash. This was much Gritti. Give this movie: Equilibrium a chance, I think it will be pleasantly surprised. |
| If (like me) who thought that the matrix is pretentious, superficial, and relied too much on expensive special effects, then you can appreciate this movie. An interesting twist on the mind control / gender older brother, who bears some resemblance to the matrix in the fighting style and scenes, but as a story is far superior in every way. It is interesting and stimulating, with a talent, but not with excess plaster that actually allows the story to take precedence. Among a large multi-national cast, there's no real stars (or if you prefer, egos) to show here, though Christian Bale is simply magnificent as the clergyman, and young Matthew port plays a small but impressive role of his son. The real star is the DivX film Equilibrium itself (which is probably why it was never a huge block of Buster-hit) and the writer / director Kurt Wimmer. Without preaching or patronizing to the audience, asks what we are, what we do. Entertaining and stimulating - veering more to the former, but with enough substance to satisfy the most discerning DivX film Equilibrium fan. |
| OK I admit I am a huge Christian Bale fan, so that is my bias, but this one worth seeing. I am really surprised that I had never heard of the Equilibrium movie before and really happy to have shot from obscurity to Hollywood. It's totally different than I expected. The Equilibrium movie builds slowly, but you can see why in the last 30-35 minutes. Is completely enveloped in the story and action sequences are classics. There are surprise twists and turns that capture the viewer and the characters are unaware of the film. When I finished I started to return just over the tracks that had lost my mind. I saw this again and again and I will. There are even eye candy shots for the ladies! What more can you ask for? You must see Bale fellow fans! |
