In 1863, in Fairhope, Alabama, a group of former Confederate soldiers robbers a commerce bank and kills many clients and employees. While escaping to Mexico, they spend the night in an isolated house that belonged to a dead soldier of their company. Since the opening of the Dead Birds movie to the final part that really felt like I was seeing something I had not seen before. It was a great horror film: Dead Birds but also made me think of the Area Twilght. The look of the DivX Movie Dead Birds is beautiful, very dark and brooding. Someone mentioned a Polanski influence, but I see it more as Polanski through early Cronenberg and John Carpenter. Unlike some of the others who have commented here, I liked the fact that the Dead Birds Horror had its moment of creation events in the house. Which made the far more frightening effective. I'd like to see the DivX film Dead Birds again (I saw at the Festival Internacional de Cine de Toronto) Does anyone know when it will be in theaters?
